Treat Yourself to a Self-Care Month!

While I am writing this post, it is the last day of June 2020 and we are about to step into a brand new month of achievements, memories, and hopefully a complete end to lockdown. (Fingers crossed anyway!) I think for many of us, this lockdown has taught us a lot, I mean speaking on behalf of myself, I truly have learnt and felt things I never thought I would experience but can honestly say I am grateful for my progress and you should be too, this lockdown hasn't been easy on anyone!


So I've decided to put together a little challenge and would love for you to join in on the fun. Now some of us are heading back to work, may have been working during the whole lockdown period, or are still on Furlough but may find we are lacking in the self-care department and having "me-time" now things are starting to go to a "new normal". So, starting tomorrow (1st July 2020 or whenever you feel you may need a little pick-me-up challenge), will be a self-care month. Each day there will be a "daily exercise" for you to complete to ensure you are not forgetting to take time for yourself. Each exercise will be listed below but I will also be doing a daily prompt over on my Instagram to remind you. By all means, you can change the exercises to a different day but make sure you are giving yourself that well deserved time to yourself during your busy day!


31 Day Self-Care Challenge!

1st July - Declutter a room and/or a certain area!

2nd July - Text someone who you love and tell them why!

3rd July - Clean and sort those piled up emails in your inbox!

4th July - Try something new or different with your hair and/or makeup!

5th July - Pamper yourself in anyway you want!

6th July - List your short term goals!

7th July - Change your wallpaper to something inspiring!

8th July - Eat a really healthy meal!

9th July - Ask someone for constructive feedback!

10th July - Treat yourself to something good!

11th July - Do something you have been putting off!

12th July - Stick on your favourite film!

13th July - Try something completely new!

14th July - Random act of kindness!

15th July - Listen to a podcast!

16th July - Try a new exercise routine!

17th July - Make your favourite drink!

18th July - Go for a walk!

19th July - Pamper yourself from head to toe!

20th July - Read and share a blog post!

21st July - Educate yourself on something new!

22nd July - Stretch your body!

23rd July - Make a list of the things you are grateful for!

24th July - Drink at least one healthy drink for the day!

25th July - Try and cut down/out one unhealthy food item from your diet!

26th July - Define what makes you stressed!

27th July - Watch a documentary!

28th July - Drink your daily intake of water!

29th July - Unfollow those negative people on social media!

30th July - Do something you really enjoy!

31st July - Write yourself a letter to look back on in a few years time!
