Spend The Week With Me In Isolation.

Welcome back to a brand new blog post after a couple of months of silence, this year has truly been a complete rollercoaster and it's only April! I hope those of you reading this are well and safe along with your family and friends, we have got this whole situation together and we will all get through it! So, seeing as there isn't a lot we can do at this current time I have decided to share what I have been getting up to during this isolation period. For myself, I have been in isolation for just over a month now but I can say, I do feel that it has gone quite quick. This isolation period has made me fall back in love with blogging especially fashion and lifestyle but also I feel I have fallen back in love with myself and feel so much more positive. Please always feel free to send me a message if you need a chat, my messages are always open! Anyway, let's get on with the show...

Monday 20th April 2020...

After watching @HelloOctober's vlog a couple of days ago, I was inspired to start writing to-do lists for the whole week, there is just something about ticking off the tasks and feeling good about achieving something, especially during this unusual time.

So Monday came around and I ticked off each task on my list.

  • Delete and sort emails - deleted or sorted into categories

  • Clean Bedroom - watch in my cleaning highlight on Instagram @chloeliddiatt_xox

  • Catch up on YouTube and Blogs - especially loving @alfiedeyes and @beautysbigsister

  • Paint nails - Hot Lava by No7

My to-do list took up quite a bit of time on Monday but in the evening I worked out, I am currently following @ToneItUp's Beach Babe programme. I also signed up for @lovesweatfitness's Stay Well Weekend. After I decided to have a relaxing bubble bath to finish off the evening before bed.

Tuesday 21st April 2020...

I started off the morning by doing my 1 hour of daily exercise and essential shopping. I popped into my local M&S to try their version of Pornstar Martini. I did enjoy it but it has not made the list, unfortunately.

  • Try a few new makeup looks - inspiration from @KatesBeautyStation

  • Sort return parcels - try pieces on to keep or not

  • Learn to French plait - practice makes perfect

Once I got back home, I decided to try a few makeup looks to feel a bit more put together and normal instead of staying in my PJs all day and having my hair in a bun. I have now also decided to grow out my full fringe so I am learning to French plait to hide the growth of the fringe and just to learn a new skill. I spent the rest of the evening reading blogs, completing my workout, and went to bed.

Wednesday 22nd April 2020... Wednesday was definitely a down day for me and I generally spent it chilling in my bedroom and binge-watching whatever I could find on YouTube and Netflix. I didn't tick anything off my list but that was fine because it is okay to have down days and take time for yourself! However, in the evening I did my daily workout of the day and played a few rounds of Cluedo with my household.

Thursday 23rd April 2020... Today was in actual fact my Nan's birthday, so I woke up and wished her a Happy Birthday and I definitely woke up feeling better. I mean I didn't tick anything off my list but I did have a productive day. My Nana who is in her 80's and lives across the road from me is isolating on her own, so I decided to surprise her and sit on her outside step while she sat in her doorway to catch up. (Don't worry we were two meters apart) We spent over two hours just sitting and chatting. Later on that afternoon, I decided to spend the afternoon in the garden as the sun was certainly shining and did a spot of colouring. I printed off some of @poppydeyes colouring sheets and my mum decided to join in and she coloured in the NHS Rainbow which is now sitting in our kitchen window. We, of course, that evening stood outside at 8pm to do our clap and I also completed another workout.

Friday 24th April 2020...

Friday soon came around, I only ticked off a few things on my to-do list but I wanted to enjoy some time in the garden while the weather was nice (we can't say that very often in the UK)!!

  • Sort Come Dine With Me ideas - the boredom has got to us

  • Clean makeup brushes - B. Makeup Brush Cleanser

  • Watch the welcome video for Stay Well Weekend - @lovesweatfitness for more in the future

I woke up and decided to sort and clean both my makeup brushes and my makeup collection which was so needed, completed my daily workout, and spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden continuing with my colouring. One of my neighbours owns a Fish and Chip (which has been closed and still is due to the virus) and decided to open for a few hours for delivery only and we decided to order some. I can honestly say they are the best Fish and Chips I've eaten!! After the Fish and Chips, we decided to play a few more rounds of Cluedo.

Saturday 25th April 2020...

I was able to tick off a few things on my lists today and felt that I again had a productive day.

  • Sort and clean wardrobe - rearrange hangers and clean clothes off the floor

  • Learn to heat roll - complete fail (I think my hair is too short at the moment)

  • 4pm HIIT - Stay Well Weekend

So I decided to wake up and clean my wardrobe and sort any clothing which needed picking up and putting back on their hangers. While I was doing this I had my hair in heated rollers which didn't really work, I think my hair is too short at the moment so I'll be sticking with the French plaits. Later on in the afternoon, I completed a HIIT workout which was part of the Stay Well Weekend and that evening was the first part of our Come Dine With Me. It was my mum's night, we were only doing the main meal and pudding. She decided to do a Meatloaf Roll with chips, veg and gravy and a chocolate chip pan cookie with ice cream.

Sunday 26th April 2020...

Sunday was indeed very chilled much like what every Sunday should be, I woke up a little later, watched a few videos on YouTube, and decided to spend the afternoon sitting in the sun.

  • Sort skincare - Morning and Night skincare routine coming soon

  • 6pm Yoga - Stay Well Weekend

  • Read a book - @Zoesugg's Girl Online

This evening it was my Dad's turn to do his Come Dine With Me and he decided to serve slow-cooked pulled pork with chips, coleslaw, flatbread, and salad for his main and custard tart and lemon meringue pie with salted caramel ice cream, cream or custard. Afterwards, I completed a Yoga session as apart of the Stay Well Weekend and completed a family quiz which we do every Sunday while we are all in lockdown.

I hope you have enjoyed reading an insight into what I have been up to while in isolation. Please leave your thoughts and what you have been doing too in the comments and remember, my messages are always open to anyone! Stay Safe!
